When filmmaker Emile Dinneen decided to make an arts documentary about his grandmother, the celebrated sculptor Imogen Stuart, he thought it would serve as a swan song of sorts, following the last years of her life.

He didn’t expect the documentary to take 13 years to make. Neither did he expect his grandmother to live well beyond the average life expectancy.
