RTÉ director general Kevin Bakhurst has set the compass for the direction of travel for the national broadcaster, but setting off on the journey will be a very different story.

Bakhurst’s new strategic vision for the organisation contained several key things that simply had to be included even if some staff will find them unpalatable.
