There wasn’t a wrinkle in the Irish financial performance of Botox maker Allergan Pharmaceuticals last year. The Westport-based manufacturing plant employs 1,337 people and bagged pre-tax profits of €1.37bn ($1.5bn) last year. This works out at a massive €1.55m in profit per employee.

It pretty much makes the factory the ultimate posterboy for foreign direct investment in Ireland.
