Cambridgeshire couple cover house with Christmas lights to raise money for children's charities

A Cambridgeshire couple have lit their home up with a festive Christmas lights display to raise money for charities that helped their son recover from a serious form of epilepsy. Helen and John Attlesey decorate their home in Soham every year to raise money for charities that helped their grandson Jacob when he suffered from a serious form of epilepsy. Over the past 10 years the retired couple have raised more than £50,000 to support East Anglia Children's Hospices, Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity and Dreamflight – and their elaborate illuminations have become a local landmark during the festive season.
