Donegal singer recalls ‘Fairytale of New York’ performance with Shane MacGowan as ‘dream come true’

A Donegal singer who shared the stage on many occasions with Shane MacGowan said performing with him was a ‘dream come true.’ Singer and songwriter Tanya McCole from Ardara in County Donegal has paid tribute to Shane MacGowan (65) following his death last Thursday, November 30. Tanya posted a video of the pair performing ‘Fairytale of New York’ on her social media, and said it was an honour to perform with a ‘wordsmith’ like him. Video taken by Heather McKeeman.
