Maclean Burke: ‘The most expensive place I’ve visited? Does divorce court count?’

Maclean Burke clinched his first big acting break when he was 12, playing a young Vincent Maguire in the 1993 film In the Name of the Father. For last two decades, Burke has played Damien Halpin in the RTE soap Fair City, making him one of the most recognisable faces on Irish television. The Dublin-born actor, who has four children from a previous marriage and is engaged to Cat Nolan, will return this month to his annual role as Dame Polly in the panto Olly, Polly and the Magic Lamp, which runs from December 20 to January 7 at the 3Olympia Theatre.
