In February, the podcaster was punched on a night out. Despite her assailant's conviction, she’s still on edge

‘My first thought was, ‘Oh my god, the waiter’s after dropping a load of plates on my head,’” says influencer Charleen Murphy. “Then I looked and I saw him. I got up straight away. After watching the CCTV video, the gardaí said they didn’t know how I stood up. I haven’t actually seen the CCTV and he flung my head forward into my glass that was on the table and it cut me, but I got straight up. When you’re in shock, you feel no pain.”

Murphy is talking about the night when she was horrifically attacked in a Dublin hotel earlier this year.
